Can I use a standard frame?

Our 18×24in prints fit standard 18×24in frames, widely available. Our 24×32in prints are sized to the artwork, so they suit our framed option or custom framing.

What data do you use?

Elevation comes from national survey data, published under the Open Government Licence v3.0: the Environment Agency in England, the Scottish Remote Sensing Portal in Scotland, DataMapWales in Wales and DAERA in Northern Ireland. Where no 1-metre survey exists, we use the 25-metre European DEM. Every print states its own source on the plate. Course features come from OpenStreetMap under the Open Database Licence.

How is the data strip verified?

Established year, par, yardage, architect and course type are compiled from club records and archives. If we have one wrong, tell us and we will correct the plate.

What paper do you print on?

310gsm cotton rag with a matte surface, the grade used by fine art galleries and museum print shops.

How long do the prints last?

Pigment-based inks, rated for 200+ year lightfastness under normal indoor display conditions.

Can I request a course you don't have?

We currently cover 376 courses across Britain and Ireland. If yours is not listed, write to jac@gorwelprintco.com and we will check whether suitable survey data exists.

Do you offer framing?

Framed prints ship in a black frame, ready to hang.

Do you ship internationally?

UK delivery is free on every order. International delivery is a flat £8 to the countries listed at checkout.

What sizes are available?

18×24in (457×610mm) and 24×32in (610×813mm). Panoramic prints vary, with a 900mm long edge. Digital downloads are available for every print.
